Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
Introduction
This policy explains how andynomade.com (“Andy Nomade,” “we,” or “us”) handles information in connection with this website. We've kept it short and specific to what this site actually does today — it will be expanded as new features, like the newsletter and contact form, go live.
Information we collect
This website does not have a backend, database, or contact form collecting personal information yet, and there is no newsletter signup form yet either — that feature is coming soon. The data collected today is aggregate analytics via Google Analytics 4, plus a small set of custom analytics events (described below) that record which links and sections of the site are used. Once the newsletter launches, this policy will be updated first to describe exactly what is collected, how it's used, and how you can unsubscribe.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand overall traffic — how many people visit, which pages they view, and roughly where they come from. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this and may process data outside your country. In addition to standard pageview tracking, this site sends two custom analytics events: affiliate_click, recorded when an affiliate link is followed, and shop_navigation, recorded when you move between the Shop and related pages. Both events carry a small set of controlled metadata (such as which retailer or destination was involved) and are not designed to identify you personally. No advertising cookies are used.
Third-party links and services
This site links out to third-party platforms, including YouTube and Instagram, and includes active affiliate links to selected retailers that I personally recommend. Those destinations have their own privacy practices, which govern any information collected once you leave this site, and the affiliate networks behind those links may attribute your visit or purchase according to their own systems. If you purchase through one of these links, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Andy Nomade is not the merchant of record for any product purchased through these links — the retailer you're directed to handles the sale. Affiliate relationships never influence which stores or products are recommended.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
As this website grows — starting with the newsletter, and later a contact form and affiliate content — this policy will be updated to reflect exactly what data is collected and why. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
